First Meeting of the German Country Desk, Berlin, June 15, 2005

On June 15, 2005, the German Country Desk got together for the first time. During the meeting, the members discussed the current approaches, above all the proposal by the German Electricity Association (Verband der Elektrizitätswirtschaft - VDEW - e.V.) to switch from feed-in support mechanism to green certificate trade systems.

In this context, the reply paper and argumentation line by the German Wind Energy Association (Bundesverband WindEnergie - BWE - e.V.) was also commented.

Furthermore, the participants agreed on central questions and the organisational procedure for the national hearing scheduled for October 19, 2005.
