Survey
In the first phase of national consultation, the Italian desk focused on the preparation of a questionnaire.
The survey, that was performed on the basis of these questionnaires, aimed at gathering views on the current support mechanisms from stakeholders involved in production of electricity from renewable energy sources (RES-E).
In this process, major stakeholders and especially
APER
, the Italian association of RES-E producers with about 250 members, provided assistance in designing and discussing the questions. APER also played an important role in the distribution of the questionnaire among her members and other key stakeholders as well as in follow-up activities including individual interviews.
The questionnaire was sent out to about 300 RES-E actors such as producers, grid operators, distributors, traders, banks, equipment manufacturers, public authorities, research institutes, consumer and environment associations etc.
More than 80 market actors filled in the questionnaire, half of whom represented RES-E producers and plant manufacturers.
