International Conference: The European Neighbourhood Policy in the Eastern Region in Practice - Achievements and Perspectives before the Vilnius Summit

On 22 November 2013, the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair will host a conference on the occasion of the publication of a Special Issue of East European Politics entitled "The European Neighbourhood Policy in the Eastern Region: The Practices Perspective", co-edited by Ms Elena KOROSTELEVA, Professor of International Politics at Kent University, Dr Michał NATORSKI, Senior Research Fellow in the ENP Chair, and Dr Licínia SIMÃO, Assistant Professor in International Relations at the University of Coimbra.

During this conference leading European experts, including MAXCAP Partner Prof. Adam FAGAN, will discuss the actual achievements and prospects of the Eastern Partnership on the eve of the Vilnius Summit (28-29 November 2013). The conference will address in a complementary fashion multilateral and bilateral aspects of the Eastern Partnership. In addition to the Introductory Lecture by Professor Elena Korosteleva, chaired by Prof. Adam Fagan, the participants will address during two sessions the dynamics of region-building and sub-regional cross-border cooperation, as well of achievements in the implementation of reforms in Eastern European partner countries in a comparative perspective. Further details of the conference as well as its programme can be downloaded here
