We are working in different projects at Lake Baikal, Irkutsk, Russia:

Dr. Peter Röpstorf is working as postdoc stipendiary of the Deutsche Forschungs-Gemeinschaft (DFG) at the Institute of Geological Sciences - Section Palaeontology - of the Freie Universitaet Berlin and at the Limnological Institute, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (LIN SB RAN) in Irkutsk.
Theme of investigation: Morphology and ecology of endemic gastropods of Lake Baikal.

Dr. Evgenia Röpstorf studies impacts of pollutants on the herbal layer of the boreal forestral ecosystems in the Siberian Institute of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry in Irkutsk (SIFIBR).
