The Gossamer Project Help Desk

Welcome to the Help Desk for the Gossamer Project.

The Gossamer Project is one of the best-known fan fiction archives in existence. It contains the most comprehensive collection of X-Files stories on the Internet. As maintainers of this vast archive, we have become so familiar with the relationships between the various aspects of the archive--from submissions to the database, story listings to search engines--that we sometimes forget that new people discover Gossamer every day. This is why we have created the Help Desk to guide you through using the site.

This help desk exists for both the readers and the writers. With the many sites that make up The Gossamer Project, the terms which classify and categorize the many stories, and the guidelines which surround submitting a story, figuring out how to do exactly what you want can be daunting. These documents are intended to make finding the information you need a little easier.
