Berlin, 30.01.09:
Tagung des Arbeitskreis “Umweltpolitik und Global Change” der
Deutschen Vereinigung für Politische Wissenschaft (DVPW):
Politikwissenschaftliche Forschungen zum Klimaschutz
We are a network of about 250 researchers, mostly
from political science, with a strong scholarly interest in
environmental policy and politics, global environmental change, and
the quest for global sustainable development. Most of us are members
of the
German
Political Science Association
(DVPW), although our group remains open to colleagues from other
disciplines who wish to join us in our research programmes and
debates. Our work encompasses traditional research questions of
environmental policy and politics, but is also directly linked to
the global research community active within the
Human
Dimensions of Global Environmental Change Research Programme.
We are currently focusing our research in particular on the
following areas:
Institutional
Dimensions of Global, Regional and Local Environmental Change
Industrial
Transformation
Science and
Political Decision-Making (from both an academic and a practical
perspective)
Although many of our publications and websites are in German,
increasing efforts are being made to publish more of our research in
English. Please visit this website regularly for new
English-language information about our work.
