| Summary: |
|
Large-scale mantle dynamics is responsible for significant parts of the observed
geoid. In this project, processes related to mantle convection are modelled in
a physically consistent manner to predict geoid anomalies and their temporal
changes. Specific areas of interest are subduction zones and mantle plumes.
