Your representatives for the academic staff at FU
The list "WissKunft" is a trade-union independent representation of the academic staff here at Freie Universität Berlin. We have been advocating for the concerns of the academic staff in the Academic Senate of FU for many years.
- We are committed to the interests of all researchers and lectures, regardless of whether they are employed on a temporary or permanent basis, regardless of whether they work more in teaching or research.
- We advocate for the promotion of transparent, fair and future-oriented structures.
- We want transparency and participation in all aspects of university politics.
- We stand for constructive cooperation with all other groups.
- For this, we actively work together with all interest groups at FU and in Berlin.
Jana Lüdtke
Postdoc, Lecturer and Researcher
Education and Psychology
Dr. Jana Lüdtke works as a postdoc in the group neurocognitive and experimental psychology. Since 2015, she has been one of four representatives of the academic staff in the Academic Senate. She is also a member of the departmental council and coordinate regular exchanges among all researchers and lectures.

Luise Grace Klass
Veterinarian and PhD candidate
Veterinary Medicine
Grace Klass is employed as a PhD candidate and veterinarian at the Institute for Veterinary Anatomy. At the department, she actively advocates for improving working conditions for both PhD candidates and postdocs.

Marco Preußner
Postdoc, Lecturer and Researcher
Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy
Dr. Marco Preußner is a scientific staff member at the Institute for RNA Biochemistry. For two years, he has been a member of the Research Commission and actively advocates for the interests of the academic staff in the BCP department and as a member of the extended academic senate.

Katrin Nissen
Postdoc and researcher
Earth Science
Dr. Katrin Nissen works as a researcher at the Institute of Meteorology. She knows the problems of temporarily employed scientific staff first-hand and advocates for their concerns in the Department of Earth Sciences.

Nino Ferrin
Postdoc, Lecturer and Researcher
Education and Psychology
Dr. Nino Ferrin works as a postdoc in the group German Didactics. Since 2018, he has also been Vice Dean for Studies and Teaching at the department EwiPsy. He actively advocates for the concerns of all researchers and lecturers in the departmental council.
