Seminar on derived categories and VGIT, Winter Semester 2017/2018

Seminar zur Algebraischen Geometrie (Erganzungsmodul: Forschungsseminar, Forschungsmodul: Algebra).

Mondays 14:00-16:00 in 1.4.31 SR E3, Arnimallee 14.

Organiser: Victoria Hoskins.

We study the behaviour of the bounded derived category of coherent sheaves under certain birational transformations arising from variation of geometric invariant theory quotients. More precisely, we relate the derived categories under a wall-crossing via semi-orthogonal decompositions following recent work of Ballard-Favero-Katzarkov and Halpern-Leistner.

A more detailed description of the talks is available here.
