After finishing work on the project <em>Geodata, Policing and Urban Development<\/em> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wiso.uni-hamburg.de\/professuren\/kriminologie\/startseite\/\" title=\"homepage of the Institute for Criminological Social Research\">University of Hamburg<\/a>, I have moved back to Norway. To be more exact, I am now a resident of Notodden in Telemark province. Telemark? Yes, Telemark, the home of skiing. Accordingly, two things dominate my life: (a) work, which means publishing articles and developing social science courses for foreign students at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hit.no\/eng\" title=\"homepage of the university college\">Telemark University College<\/a>. (b) Hiking (before all the snow arrived) and now skiing. Hardangervidda is only a short drive from here, so it looks like this year\u2019s skiing season may well extend deep into April or perhaps even May.
