Besides talking about <q>Landscape Urbanism Today<\/q>, the symposium was the inauguration event for the research project in which I will participate for six fully funded months next year. The name of the project is <em>Routes, Roads and Landscapes. Aesthetic Practices en route, 1750 &#8211; 2015<\/em> and it is funded by the Norwegian Research Council (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.forskningsradet.no\/\" title=\"homepage of the research organization\">Norges Forskingsr\u00e5d<\/a>). All went well, luckily including my presentation <em>Encountering Places: Aesthetics of the Lived Moment and the Aesthetics of Long Durations<\/em> which, to my utter delight, tied in nicely with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.egs.mmu.ac.uk\/edensor.htm\" title=\"academic homepage of the geographer\/spciologist\">Tim Edensor<\/a>\u2019s presentation on <em>The pleasures of Everyday Mobility: Ghosts, Familiarities and Surprises in Motorscapes<\/em>.
