In particular, files of job announcements from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) are available from this server. OPM acts as the personnel office and recruitment agency of the federal government. Agencies needing to hire employees have OPM advertise the position, collect the applications, and do the initial screening of the paperwork, forwarding completed applications on to the hiring agency. Some agencies and the military recruit directly, but most federal jobs are listed with OPM. *Subscribe* To: LISTSERV@DARTMOUTH.EDU (message): SUB FEDJOBS Your Name Listowner: David Avery David.Avery@dartmouth.edu URL: LISTSERV-FTP.DARTMOUTH.EDU (129.170.16.38). pub/listserv/fedjobs/openings/federal ================================================================= 4.
