effective immediately. This ensures more effective processing
of your contributions and requests. Please send your submissions

STAFF
Since 1 February 1998, former managing editor and resource 
section editor Leon Pereira now serves as editorial consultant 
for the PsychNews. Dr Pereira had served as acting editor-in-chief
during 1997. After leave of absence, Sunkyo Kwon has resumed his 
editor-in-chief activities with PsychNews 3(1).

Dr Donald P. Corriveau now functions as managing editor 
29 January 1998; he has also taken the news section editor 
position.

Dr Myron Pulier has joined the staff as Announcements and Events
Editor.

Fran Rosen has been added to the staff as Assistant editor.


DISTRIBUTION
Because of its presently limited capacitites, the PsychNews will
be distributed based on a 4-plus plan, e.g. four issues will 
definitely be mailed out in 1998 (March, June, September, December),
plus extra issues depending on the time and resources available.

Please support the PsychNews by sending us your 
letters, articles, by telling your friends and 
colleagues about the PsychNews or by joining the staff!

PsychNews International is an electronic publication, freely
distributed on a regular basis. All materials included in PN
are the property of PN,  from the public   domain or used by
permission.

We encourage  you to distribute  copies of or  excerpts from
PsychNews International with the following limitations:

A) Material cannot be altered or changed in  any way without
   the written permission of PsychNews International.
B) All material used must indicate that it first appeared in
   PN (volume and issue number cited)  and is reprinted with
   permission.
C) Permission must be obtained for mailing list distribution

THE MAILING LIST PSYCHNEWS

PsychNews International -- An Online Publication -- is an
independent electronic publication distributed to professionals,
students, and others interested in issues related to the mental
health profession.

The PsychNews (or short: PN), formerly titled the InterPsych
Newsletter (IPN) serves thousands of readers as one of
the first and premier sources of its kind on the Internet
for international news in psychology and psychiatry.

PsychNews Int'l publishes articles on current events in mental
health, updates from relevant Internet discussion groups, as
well as original research and theoretical articles. PN also
contains reports on new mental health resources on the Internet,
conference, employment, and announcement listings.

The PsychNews Listserv is a "send only" mailing list which
means the list is used solely for the purpose of distributing
the PN. No messages can be posted to this list directly.
