Always comical, the story ends with the boy finally proving his value through a wrestling contest in which he suprisingly proves his superiority over his much stronger opponent. Victory leads to his recognition by the community.

Warriors of the Steppes is a heritage big-budget epic film that traces the history of the great war between Mongolia and Manchouria and nsists on a supposed Mongolian iliteracy as opposed to a supposed more sophisticated Chinese culture. Numerous battle scenes with many extras in full costume.
