  • Research Interests

The work of our group revolves around the role of sedimentary basins as recorder of tectonic, climatic, and biological information. This information, collected in the past, can serve to understand the present and assist in predicting the future. To that purpose, we study the origin, architecture, geometry, deformation, and sedimentary fill of selected basins worldwide in a variety of tectonic settings and ages.
