Research Interests
I am interested in geometric aspects of combinatorial optimization. This includes for instance extended formulations as a means for the construction of linear descriptions for 0/1-polytopes associated with certain combinatorial problems. In the last years, I worked a lot with a special class of 0/1-polytopes called orbitopes of this kind.
Moreover, I am interested in the presentation of the structure, the landscape and trends of modern and former mathematics. (See project "Panorama der Mathematik".)
