| Born in 1969 in Berlin. Cathleen Kantner studied Social Sciences at Humboldt-Universität Berlin ( Germany) and at the University of Connecticut (UCONN) in the U.S. She received her PhD from Humboldt-University Berlin in 2002. From 1998-2003 she taught at the Institute of Social Sciences at Humboldt University Berlin. From 2003-2005 she worked at the Bundeswehr Institute for Social Sciences in Strausberg. From 2004-2005 she received the Vincent Wright Fellowship in Comparative Politics for a stay at the Robert Schuman Centre of Advanced Research at the European University Institute Florence. Since September 2005 she is working as an assistant professor at the Centre for European Integration at the Otto-Suhr-Institute of Political Science at the Free University Berlin. |
